الØديث عن علم اللغة ذو شجون، إن معظم أقسام علم اللغة له علاقة قويةبالتربية وتعليم اللغة ÙÙ‰ مجالات عديدة، منها: وضع الخطط ومناهج التعليم
وإعداد الوسائل التعليمية ÙÙ‰ مثل على اللغة العام وعلم اللغة النÙسى وعلم
اللغة الإجتماعى وعلم اللغة التقابلى وغيرها. علم اللغة له دور بارز ÙÙ‰ تعليم
اللغة خصوصا منذ أواخر القرن التاسع عشر بعد ظهور علم اللغة الØديث
الذى كان اهتمامه بعلم اللغة التطبيقى وتطويرها واضØا. إن علم اللغة ليس
ÙˆØده هو العنصر الأساسى ÙÙ‰ Ù†Ø¬Ø§Ø ØªØ¹Ù„ÙŠÙ… اللغة ولكنه صار من العناصر المهمة
Ùيه. نرى مدى قوة الصلة بين علم اللغة وتدريس اللغة، Ùلعلم اللغة دور هام ÙÙ‰
عملية تدريس اللغة المنشودة كاللغة العربية لأنه أشبه آلة مهمة تساعد المدرس
ÙÙ‰ عملية تدريس اللغة للوصول إلى الهد٠المرجو به وهو Ù†Ø¬Ø§Ø ØªØ¹Ù„ÙŠÙ… اللغة
العربية.
